Hugh McAulay and Neville Hesford were childhood friends, growing up in neighbouring towns in the Southern Highlands.
After completing his studies and working in a variety of practice areas in the Australian Capital Territory, Neville returned with his family to the Southern Highlands in 2015. Hugh returned to the Southern Highlands with his family in 2021 when the opportunity arose for him and Neville to acquire a local Bowral law firm.
